We are pleased to announce that the following Keynote Speakers have been confirmed for ICFS 10:
Understanding how sediment moves through and is stored within sedimentary systems is at the core of Bill Dietrich’s research. This work extends from northern Californian hillsides to the floodplains of Papua New Guinea.
Martin Gibling has studied fluvial deposits across a wide range of spatial and temporal scales. Current work includes vegetation impacts on Paleozoic rivers and the response of the modern Saskatchewan River delta to dam buidling.
Doug Jerolmack's research begins with the mechanics of sediment transport and uses that as a basis to understand larger patterns in modern and ancient sedimentary systems.
